About Joining

Our Scheme is open to PG Group employees and their families only.

Membership of the PG Group Medical Scheme is compulsory unless you are covered by your spouse's medical scheme and do not wish to change your medical scheme membership.

We do not apply waiting periods, exclusions and late joiner penalties to new employees, provided that they join the Scheme within the first month of commencing employment with the PG Group. This will also apply to their immediate family.

The Medical Scheme year

Benefit limits are usually allocated in calendar year cycles (from 1 January to 31 December) after which they reset for the following year. Most benefits follow a one-year cycle.

When a new member joins, some of the benefits limits will be adjusted prorated.
