Oncology Programme
Discovering that you have cancer may leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. According to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), one out of four people will be affected by cancer, either directly or indirectly through the diagnosis of a loved one. Registering on the Oncology Programme is a powerful tool to support you and your loved ones on this journey.

South African Oncology Consortium (SAOC)
The Society has contracted with SAOC, an accredited managed care organisation, to provide our valued members with cancer care services and to facilitate cost-effective oncology treatment.
Download the SAOC application form. Complete the patient details and medical scheme details section. Ask your treating doctor or oncologist to complete the rest of the form. Once the treatment plan is approved, the oncology care coach will inform your treating doctor.

The Scheme cares about your health and wellbeing. That is why we offer all members diagnosed with cancer FREE access to the programme. Read more about what this programme has to offer.
