Travel Insurance Consultants (TIC) is a specialist division of Santam. TIC is a member of the Association of South African Travel Agents (ASATA) and has been insuring travellers internationally and locally for over 25 years.

Medical Travel Insurance
This insurance covers only leisure international travel, not business travel.
90 days cover per trip
R5,000,000 per member for emergency medical cover
R500,000 cover for any pre-existing conditions if hospitalised
If hospitalised for more than 24 hours, no excess is payable
Evacuation to the nearest, most appropriate facility
Repatriation to your country of residence
Visit by a family member if the traveller is hospitalised
Returning home of children and travel companions if left stranded due hospitalisation
Burial, cremation or return of mortal remains

3person Should you require emergency medical treatment overseas, you need to notify MSO immediately on +27 11 259 5003 to ensure appropriate guarantees are sent to the healthcare provider. Failure to contact MSO when the treatment is received, will result in you being liable for expenses exceeding R10 000.

warning The age limit is 80 years of age, but an extension can be purchased at an additional cost for any persons 81 years to 85 years old.
