Lodge a complaint with the CMS
info The Act allows members to lodge complaints directly with the Council for Medical Schemes.
info Members are encouraged to first lodge their grievances directly with the Scheme first.
The PG Group Medical Scheme suggests the following action in the case of a dispute, which is dependent on the urgency as well as the gravity of the situation:
- The beneficiary should contact the Client Services Team first
- If the beneficiary would like to pursue the matter further, they should lodge a formal grievance, where the dispute shall be addressed with the Board of Trustees.
- The beneficiary can lodge a complaint with the Council for Medical Schemes, if the Scheme has not adequately satisfied the grievance.
